Beauty pageants become more colorful and intensely exciting with the participation of the world’s beauty super power, the mighty Venezuela! Under the direction of the legendary Venezuelan Czar of Beauty, Osmel Sousa the country has produced more international titles than any other country in the world with 6 Miss Universe crowns, 6 Miss World crowns, 6 Miss International crowns and 1 Miss Earth crown – so far. Not to mention the consecutive runner-up placement if not a semifinal slot year after year, cementing Venezuela's status as the most successful beauty-producing country in the world. And with Osmariel Villalobos’ inimitable ubiety in the ongoing Miss Earth quest, the country is again poised to capture another international beauty tittle in its bag.

When asked about her environmental project to promote the protection of Mother Earth, the 5’8.5’’  bonita contender  introduced with fervor the application of Sun-powered desalination plant:

"Sun powered desalination plant, to produce fresh water, which is more  scarce everyday, without generating chemical or consuming fossil energy. Close to 70% of the earth’s surface is covered by water but only 2.5% is potable. One of the  advantages of a solar desalination plant is that it can be used in low income populations and it does not damage the environment because it uses renewable energy without liberating gases that create greenhouse effect. Speaking only about my country, close to 6,000,000 people live near the coast and only 16% have constant access to fresh water."

The 24 year-old, Venezuelan TV show host and model has been rising up the ladder and gaining momentum in the most recent Miss Earth’s points-earning events. She placed third overall in the rankings after the culmination of 15 challenges, increasing her chances of winning the crown. Indeed, the olive-skinned glamazon knows very well how to play her cards right (thanks to Osmel’s wisdom & expertise) and if the odds will be on her favor come coronation night, a second Miss Earth crown is greatly plausible!
