Kim Yu-Mi - Miss Universe-Korea 2013
Approximately five months before 2012 ends, South Korea had already picked its ultimate bet for next year's Miss Universe and she's none other than the 5 feet and 9 inches porcelained-skin belle, Kim Yu-Mi. Since time immemorial, no Korean beauty had ever donned the sash and crown of Miss Universe. First runner-up honors during the 1988 edition was by far the highest rank they have ever achieved in history, courtesy of Jang Yoon-Jeong, and in the last five years after Honey Lee (Lee Hanui) finishes in fourth place, Korean delegate was nowhere to be found even in the semifinal round.

The 22 year-old film major student at Konkuk University has more than a year-long preparation for the annually-held beauty derby. Aesthetically-wise, there is no doubt that she's a clear front-runner however facial beauty isn't just enough to stand out in the field of gorgeous ladies. We know very well, that a 'major major' luck, sash factor,  and knock-out preliminary performances are incredibly 'must-weapons' in every delegate vying for the most prestigious win. Does Kim have the so called 'goods and weapons' to deliver? Well, I am certain that she has something up her sleeve to make it through the top and she's got massive time to work it out before the competition commences. May 2013 be her luckiest year and I wish to see this angelic beauty breezing through the finale!
