As a junior at Iowa State, Richelle majors in Event Management. She dreams of one day owning and operating a national level dance competition system. She believes that there are many talented dancers out there; she wants to help give them the means to improve and to continue to succeed.

"Pageantry is still relevant in today's society because it gives women a strong backbone to pursue our dreams. Not only does the pageant give us phenomenal communication skills to be leader's in today's society, but also shows the courage it takes to achieve dreams".

Miss Kansas: Staci Klinginsmith

Age: 26

Staci Klinginsmith of Lenexa, Kansas was finally crowned Miss Kansas USA® 2013 after her fourth attempt. She has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Kansas, and plans to obtain her Master’s in Business Administration from Lindenwood University through their online MBA program.

"Pageants build character, discipline, and poise. These characteristics build self-confidence, which is the genesis of what’s required to make the modern woman successful."

Miss Kentucky: Allie Leggett
Hometown: McCreary County
Height: 5'7''
Age: 19

Allie is a lover of travel and pursing dreams. She is currently a hostess at a restaurant and attends Somerset Community College.

"I want the judges to know that I strongly believe my greatest accomplishments are still ahead of me. I am self-inspired with dedication and a drive to live a life that I love and am passionate about."

Miss Louisiana: Kristen Girault
Hometown: New Orleans
Height: 5'8''
Age: 22

Kristen Girault is a 2009 graduate of Mount Carmel Academy. Currently, she attends the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing in New Orleans, LA, where she is involved in the Student Government Association and Student Nurses Association.

"Pageants give young women a stage for our voices to be heard; regardless of judgment or agreement, we have a place to voice our opinions. It prepares us to be prominent in all areas of life".

Miss Maine: Ali Clair
Hometown: China
Height: 5'9''
Age: 24

Ali attended the University of Maine in Orono for her undergraduate degree. She graduated Cum Laude in 2011 with a BA in Journalism with an Advertising concentration and completed a minor in Dance. During her senior year she was inducted into Lambda Pi Eta, the National Communication Association’s official honor society at 4-year universities.

"I was raised to always think before I speak and carry myself as if the whole world was constantly watching. It is my goal to leave a legacy as a Miss USA who is gracious, balanced and always positive".
