Jessica Albers was born in Walnut Creek, California. At the age of 13, she moved to Yankton, South Dakota. It did not take long for this sunshine state girl to make South Dakota her home. After high school, Jessica was awarded academic and athletic scholarships to Mount Marty College where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in Marketing. Throughout her college career, Jessica was a participant of the collegiate cheer, track and cross country teams, as well as an active participant in campus business organizations. While at Mount Marty, Jessica performed with the Mount Marty acapella choir at the Omaha Holland Events Center, as well as sang with world- renowned tenor Scott Piper for a Christmas concert that was nationally broadcasted by CBS.
Jessica currently is employed as executive manager of operations for Countryside Stores in northeast Nebraska. In her spare time, she also teaches Zumba and has been a licensed instructor since 2011. As a trained ballet dancer for 20 years, Zumba allows Jessica to teach what she loves, while introducing those she instructs to a fun, healthy and creative way to exercise and network.
