Newly-crowned Miss Universe 2013 Gabriela Isler from Venezuela

Finally we have our new Miss Universe!

At the end of the immensely anticipated and most sought-after coronation finale of the year, Gabriela Isler from Venezuela won the most prestigious Diamond Nexus Lab crown of Miss Universe. The twenty five year-old beauty outlasted 85 other delegates from the different corners of the globe who have converged in the capital city of Moscow, Russia vying for the most coveted title. She was crowned in Crocus city hall by last year's winner Olivia Culpo of USA.

First Runner-up is Patricia Rodriguez from Spain who almost clinched the elusive crown while Constanza Baez from Ecuador also came close in winning and nabbed the Second Runner-Up honors. Ariella Arida from the Philippines and Jakelyne Oliveira of Brazil completed the winning circle as Third Runner-Up and Fourth Runner-Up respectively. This is the fourth successive year that the Philippines landed in the top five since 2010.

Other delegates who made it through the tough Top Ten round were Great Britain, USA, India, Ecuador,and Dominican Republic. While Misses Puerto Rico,Costa Rica, China, Indonesia, Nicaragua and Switzerland were among the Top 15 with Ariella Arida from the Philippines winning the fan vote. 

Stephen Tyler, Panic! and Russian singing sensation Emin rendered their heart-stopping performances.The event was hosted by Mel B, Thomas Roberts and Nick Teplitz with Jeannie Mai and Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo as the night's anchors. Miss Universe 2012 First Runner-Up Janine Tugonon from the Philippines also served as a web correspondent bringing out some of the most newsworthy behind-the-scenes tidbits.
