Team Philippines 2016 in Alpha beauty pageants - Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss
Earth and Miss International.

It'll surely be a very busy October month for all the pageant aficionados out there since there will be four international beauty contests scheduled to take place one after another. 
First on the list is the Miss Intercontinental 2016 with its gala finale on October 16th in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Philippines' bet Jennifer Hammond will try to clinch our country's first Intercontinental tiara. 

Next in line is the Miss Grand International with its coronation night on October 25th in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Nicole Cordoves is poised to continue the winning streak and possibly nab the grand title. Barely two days after the culmination of Miss Grand, Kylie Verzosa will try her luck to win our country's 6th Miss International crown in Tokyo, Japan on October 27th. 

And finally before the merry month of October ends, a new Miss Earth will be proclaimed on October 29th after the glittering rites in the Mall of Asia Arena, Manila, Philippines. Imelda Schweighart will try to score a historic back-to-back-to-back victory in an Alpha pageant.

Miss Asia Pacific International and Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International.


Next stop will be the Miss Globe 2016 with our very own Ann
Newly-crowned Miss Diamond of the World
2016 Christine Joy Picardal of the Philippines.
Colis crowning her successor in Tirana, Albania this coming November 26th. Nichole Manalo will be representing the Philippines in the said pageant. A week after, Joanna Eden will banner the Philippine sash in the Miss Supranational pageant on December 3rd which will be staged in the town of Krynica Zdroj, Poland. 


December 19th will be the gallant crowning ceremony of Miss World 2016 which will be held in Washington DC, USA with the most anticipated representation of Catriona Gray who is aiming for the Philippines' second Miss World crown. On the other hand, there is no final word yet for the date and venue of Miss Asia Pacific International 2016 which will have its revival after years of slumbering since 2003. Ganiel Krishnan will be the Philippines' contender for the said pageant. 

And before the clock strikes at midnight on the new year's eve, a brand new Miss Tourism International will be crowned in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Justin Mae San Jose will try her luck to win the country's fourth Malaysian-based tourism pageant. 

To cap off the long-year celebration of global beauty contests, the mother of all pageantry will commemorate its 65th edition in the Pearl of the Orient Seas. Reigning Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach will crown her successor in the Mall of Asia Arena, Manila, Philippines on January 29th 2017 with Maxine Medina as the host delegate.
